Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician as well as a composer. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs in The One Direction band. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. He was selected. This meant that the group he was in had to be separated. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to create the group in 2010. They performed tracks such as My Life Would Suffer Without You, by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the contenders for the award. The group was placed in third position just behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which took home the prize. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell was a millionaire in a contract for One Direction.
